​Looking for the right counsellor is key to your journey; both of us need to connect and feel comfortable with one another to allow the therapeutic process to take place. Therefore I offer an initial free 30 minute session which gives us both the opportunity to explore your needs and for you to ask any questions or discuss any concerns you may have.

WALK AND TALK  £40 for 1 SESSION

Being outdoors is a great way to connect with yourself. The combination of regular walking, which boosts stress relieving endorphins as well as using your senses for grounding work, can support you in being present, reduce stress hormones, and alleviate mild depression.

 

Research states that walking improves self-perception, self-esteem, mood and sleep quality, as well as reducing anxiety and fatigue. Physically active people have a reduced risk of becoming depressed, and staying active helps those who are depressed recover. 

I use safe and easy walking routes within South Derbyshire, Lichfield and Ashbourne. Combining a walk with your therapy could give you the opportunity to explore your headspace in an open and mindful environment, if you feel this approach would be suitable for you or if you have any queries then please get in touch.
